About Seth Casiple
Professional Experience
2020 – 2023 (Orange County SC): The Southern California native returns for his fifth season in 2024. He started in 12 of his 13 appearances for the club during the shortened 2020 season. In 2021, he made nine appearances after being sidelined with injury and converted two penalties enroute to OCSC’s first USL championship. Led the team in assists in 2022 with five. Appeared in 31 matches across all competitions in 2024 and scored his first goal with the club. Is now the longest tenured player on the current roster with the second most appearances on the active roster (87), trailing only former captain Michael Orozco (112) and Brian Iloski (96) all-time.
2017-2019 (Reno 1868 FC): Over three seasons with Reno, Casiple recorded an impressive 93 appearances, 12 goals, and 13 assists.
2015-2016 (Portland Timbers II): Casiple was selected by the Portland Timbers in the 2015 MLS SuperDraft. After being released, Casiple signed on with Portland Timbers 2 of the USL. In his debut with the club, he assisted two goals in a 2-0 victory over Premier Development League club Michigan Bucks in the third round of the 2015 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup.
College Experience
Casiple spent his college career at the University of California at Berkeley, where he made 74 appearances with the Golden Bears netting six goals and notching 27 assists.
