Reno’s West Street Market has added another dimension to the culture of downtown, with a rotating farmers market, outdoor space for vendors and indoor space for local food, drink and retail businesses.
From its inception, the market has been developed to provide customers and sightseers a place to ”Buy Fresh, Buy Local” foods and goods, stimulate an entrepreneurial town center, and create a venue for entertainment and educational events. The market has already attracted A-list vendors and retailers, and the events are bringing good crowds.
Make sure to check out their funky outdoor patio, take a seat on an Adirondack chair and don't forget your furry friend too! It is one of the places in downtown Reno where you and your dog are both welcome.
The roofed indoor market features 8,494 square feet in three buildings, housing a variety of restaurants. For pizzas made with the freshest ingredients, order an artisan wood-fired pizza at The Pizza Collective. Sample authentic Indian fare at Thali, which has a great selection of vegan and vegetarian options, or at Maya's South Indian Cuisine, or have a soup, salad or sandwich at Sabrina’s West Street Kitchen. And don't forget dessert! For an eclectic wine selection, visit The Thali Lounge, offering a selection of organic and sustainable wines. If you need a little pick-me-up, a cup of coffee from Bibo Coffee Co. will keep you going. And since one good treat deserves another, indulge in their house-made gelato, especially recommended on those hot summer days.
Don’t miss West Street Market’s seasonal events such as open mic nights and musical performances.
