We think Reno and Sparks are full of unique picturesque spots, with the famous Reno Arch being just one of many must-see photo ops. From our beautiful landscapes to our vibrant arts scene, you're sure to leave here with plenty of great photos.
But we know that there are those iconic places you MUST take a photo of, so here are some of the most Instagram-worthy spots in Reno that are sure to make your friends back home jealous. (Bonus points if you tag #RenoTahoe for a chance to be featured on our Instagram page @RenoTahoe)
BELIEVE
Head to City Plaza and strike a pose in front of the BELIEVE sculpture. The sculpture made its debut at Burning Man in 2013 and now has a permanent home in Reno's City Plaza. Find this and other Burning Man art pieces all around Reno.
The Reno Arch
The most iconic symbol of the city, no trip to Reno Tahoe is complete without a selfie in front of the Reno Arch! The original arch from the 20s can be found on Lake Street and the famed neon Arch on Virginia St. was installed in 1987. If you're looking for a shot from a different perspective, check out the birds-eye view from Whitney Peak's climbing wall.
Last Chance Joe
When you're 36 feet tall, you're hard to miss. Last Chance Joe was originally located at the Nugget Casino Resort but has since been moved to the Sparks Museum & Cultural Center where he towers over Victorian Square.
West Street Market
The most colorful corner in town! Grab your squad and stop by West Street Market for a cute photo op.
AYCE Sushi
Ok, so this isn't one spot, but there are PLENTY of places to choose from. Reno is known for its all-you-can-eat sushi restaurants and if you're a sushi lover, you have to try at least one (or two...) restaurants while you're in town. The presentation often makes the sushi rolls almost too beautiful to eat.
Murals
Reno is home to more than 100 larger than life murals. Check out murals created by local, regional and international artists and discover your new favorite art piece in MidTown District, downtown or Sparks.
Special Events
In the Biggest Little City, our events know how to go big. From hot air balloons floating over the skyline to classic cars cruising downtown Reno and Sparks, all of our events offer plenty of photo ops.
