But we know that there are those iconic places you MUST take a photo of, so here are some of the most Instagram-worthy spots in Reno that are sure to make your friends back home jealous. (Bonus points if you tag #RenoTahoe for a chance to be featured on our Instagram page @RenoTahoe)

BELIEVE

Make your way to City Plaza to pose with Reno's BELIEVE sculpture. Originally showcased at Burning Man in 2013, this artwork found a permanent home in Reno’s City Plaza, symbolizing hope and community. While you’re there, explore other impressive Burning Man installations sprinkled throughout Reno—each piece offering a unique backdrop.

The Reno Arch

The Reno Arch is the most iconic symbol of the city and is a must for any photo collection. The original arch from the 1920s can be found on Lake Street, while the well-known neon version, installed in 1987, lights up Virginia Street. For an elevated view, try snapping a photo from the Whitney Peak climbing wall—a new perspective on a classic landmark.

Last Chance Joe

Standing 36 feet tall, Last Chance Joe is hard to miss. This towering figure, once a mainstay at the Nugget Casino Resort, now oversees Victorian Square at the Sparks Museum & Cultural Center. He’s an essential photo op for anyone exploring Sparks’ rich history.

West Street Market

Capture the most colorful corner in Reno at West Street Market. With its lively murals, shops, and artisan ambiance, this spot is perfect for group photos or solo snapshots. Let the vibrant backdrop enhance your feed with bursts of color.

AYCE Sushi

While it might not be a single location, Reno and Spark'sall-you-can-eat sushi restaurants are photo-worthy in their own right. With artfully presented rolls that almost look too good to eat, your dining experience can double as an aesthetic photo session. The presentation often makes the sushi rolls almost too beautiful to eat.

Murals

Reno is home to more than 100 larger than life murals. Check out murals created by local, regional and international artists and discover your new favorite art piece in MidTown District, downtown or Sparks.

Special Events

In the Biggest Little City, our events know how to go big. From hot air balloons floating over the skyline to classic cars cruising downtown Reno and Sparks, all of our events offer plenty of photo ops.
