Lead Dog Brewing Company

As a cornerstone of Reno's dynamic craft beer landscape, Lead Dog Brewing Company offers an innovative variety of stouts, lagers, IPAs and sours. Their tap selection makes brew lovers of every kind happy. You're sure to leave with a couple of new favorites.

Once you try Lead Dog’s Peanut Butter Stout, you’ll have dreams about it. Luckily, that’s one of their flagship beers — poured all year long. Take home a 6-pack of your new favorite beer and admire the artwork of local Nevadans long after you’ve left the taproom.

Great Basin Brewing Company

Ever heard of the Ichthyosaur ICKY IPA® or the Outlaw Milk Stout? Oh, yeah, you have. Those award-winning beers call Great Basin Brewing Company home, where craft beverages are served alongside locally sourced, sustainably grown food.

Grab dinner and drinks at their original location in Sparks with its outdoor patio or their Reno location with plenty of family-friendly seating.

10 Torr Distilling and Brewing

If beer’s only kinda your thing or you’re traveling with someone who prefers all-natural cocktails, we got you. 10 Torr Distilling and Brewing is known for their vacuum-distilled spirits, though you can find their craft beer offerings on the chalkboard in their taproom. Find something you really like? Grab a 4-pack of their canned cocktails to take home or along on your next Reno Tahoe adventure.

Play a round of shuffleboard or a card game (pro tip: whoever loses buys the next round) after lunch. Mingle on the covered patio throughout the year. Heck, bring your dog; they can hang inside or outside.

Plus, 10 Torr is close to downtown, so you can keep the fun going all night long.

Pigeon Head Brewery

A favorite of locals and visitors. And it all started with a love for brewing German-style lagers. Since 2014, Pigeon Head Brewery has been the spot for cheersing a nice, cold pint and chowing down on burgers or pizza. They’re right in the heart of Brewery District, which makes them a perfect stop on your tour. As hosts to several events throughout the year, including trivia nights and live music performances, you never know what you might walk into.

Their bartenders know what’s up and can help you find a drink you’ll have to share on Instagram or Yelp. Our bevvy recommendation? Grab a glass of their Schwarzbier (Turkish Coffee Black Lager).

The Depot Craft Brewery & Distillery

Want a little bit of history with your dinner? The Depot Craft Brewery & Distillery lives in the brick building that was built in 1910 as the headquarters for the Nevada-California-Oregon Railway. This establishment intertwines the traditions of the past with a modern flair to provide the best experience possible, from their beers to their food.

Focused on quality and local sourced items, The Depot offers a small menu — and you can’t really go wrong with any selection. Crowd favorites include the feta dip, wings and burgers for food; as well as the Buckle Bunny Ale, Milkman Stout and Beekeeper Ale for beer.

IMBĪB Custom Brews

From home brewers to the pros, the owners of IMBĪB Custom Brews have been brewing in Northern Nevada since 2012. They are known nationally for their IPAs, pale ales, hazy beers and even dry-hopped sour beers — all of which are barrel-aged. Swing by their flagship location on Wells Avenue to see where the magic happens. Or, if you’re shopping around the Outlets at Legends in Sparks, this is the perfect place to rest your feet and savor a delicious drink.

Alibi Ale Works

You’ve probably never thought about drinking Lake Tahoe’s water, but the brewmasters at Alibi Ale Works sure have. By using it to brew their beer, Alibi’s selection will keep your taste buds refreshed and intrigued with diverse and interesting flavors. Their drinks balance traditional European styles, a fresh interpretation of hop-forward American beers and innovative one-offs.

You’ll find them in three locations near Lake Tahoe: Barrel House and Public House in Incline Village, as well as Truckee Public House. With indoor seating, beer gardens and heated patios, it’s always a good time to make a stop at Alibi Ale Works to wrap up your day of adventure.

Brewer's Cabinet

In addition to their selection of craft beers on draft, including the local favorite Dirty Wookie, Brewer's Cabinet offers a lineup of breakfast, lunch and dinner options to pair perfectly with whatever you're drinking. The Brew Pub location on Arlington has a cozy patio and beer garden, which is heated and open year-round. If you want to drink straight from the source, make the short trip to the Production Facility west of downtown, open Thursday to Sunday. Here, you'll find beers on tap and a family-friendly atmosphere.
