Who knew having so much fun bowling could work up an appetite? Try one of these breakfast hot spots in Reno to get ready for your big game. A local favorite, Two Chicks in Midtown serves up an egg-ceptional breakfast or brunch and Pegs Glorified Ham n Eggs in downtown offers a full breakfast and lunch menu. Pine State Biscuits, famous for their homemade biscuits and fried chicken, is only a short hop, skip and jump from downtown. Hub Coffee Roasters locally roasts their coffee and has a location along the Truckee River, so you can enjoy freshly brewed coffee with a view. JoStella Coffee Co. and Old World Coffee Lab are all also within a short drive from the National Bowling Stadium. Stop by Bibo Coffee Co., with two locations in downtown, for a tasty cup of joe and house-made gelato for a special sweet treat.
Golf in Reno Tahoe
Put your driving skills to the test and find the perfect spot to tee off or hit the links in Reno Tahoe. Did you know at our elevation, golf balls fly 10 percent farther? Wolf Run Golf Club, LakeRidge Golf Course, Toiyabe Golf Club and Eagle Valley Golf Course are offering $25 club rentals to participating USBC Open Championships bowlers through June 30. Bowlers must present proof of current USBC membership to redeem.
