Spring Skiing Events in Reno Tahoe

Spring in Reno Tahoe means tons of fun and sun on the mountains. Check out these upcoming events to make the most of your spring skiing season.

Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe

More daylight means more time to ski at Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe. Extend your day on the slopes until 6 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays for even more thrills and chills on the mountain. And it isn't spring in Reno Tahoe without a good ol' pond skim. Get your costume ready for this favorite spring event on Saturday, April 28.

Sugar Bowl Resort

Head to Sugar Bowl Ski Resort on April 19 for their legendary Pond Skim. Whether you’re skimming the pond or just cheering from the sidelines, you're sure to have a blast with live music, a pop-up bar, and a snow beach viewing area to watch the action.

Palisades Tahoe

Palisades will hold its 33rd Annual Cushing Crossing pond skim on May 3. Join in on the fun, watch big spills, and share some laughs out on the mountain. Costumes are highly encouraged, and there will be awards from sponsors like Yeti, Smith, Darn Tough and Dakine.

If you aren't up for a dunk into Cushing Pond, check out one of the other spring events at Palisades. This year's Spring Tracks Concert Series features weekly shows by artists like 220 Kid and G Love. Test your lung capacity in the Billy Dutton Uphill Race or warm up for golf season at the Annual Snow Golf Tournament.

Sierra-at-Tahoe

Just because the season is winding down, it doesn't mean the fun stops at Sierra-at-Tahoe. Their spring events calendar includes weekly events at McP's Taphouse, live music, METHODOLOGY snowboarding competition presented by Vans, an Easter Egg Hunt and more!
