Reno Food Truck Events – A Tasty Good Time

Food trucks have become quite the craze in Reno Tahoe! Mobile kitchens are serving just about everything around town… from Asian cuisine to fresh gelato, gourmet wraps and burgers to craft beers. And now that the warm weather is here, you’re probably ready for some fresh air so check out these food truck events or track down some of the area’s most popular food trucks for the perfect mix of good food and sunshine.

Food Truck Friday – Reno Street Food

Reno Street Food, also known as “Food Truck Friday,” has become one of the largest weekly food truck events in the nation. This party in the park features more than 45 food trucks, as well as craft beer, wine and mixed drink vendors. This family-friendly event is hosted at Idlewild Park, which has plenty of grass and room for children to play or to lay out a blanket as local musicians provide free entertainment. Food Truck Friday is free to the public and takes place every Friday from 4-9 p.m., starting June 2 through August 25, 2023. Feed the Camel

Feed the Camel is Reno’s weekly hump day food truck bazaar. Local food trucks convene under the Keystone Bridge, serving unique specialties, along with local beer. This event is held at the McKinley Arts and Culture Center in the Riverwalk District, an easy walk from downtown Reno, next to the Truckee River. Feed the Camel runs through the summer, every Wednesday from 5-8:30 p.m., starting May 31 through September 6. Find out which food trucks will be in attendance each week on their Facebook page. Daddy’s Tacos NV

The popular Daddy’s Tacos NV is a food truck staple in Reno Tahoe. Although they specialize in Southern Comfort Food, Big Blue Q will take any challenge when it comes to catering requests, and their food truck’s menu is always shifting. Codfather

Codfather promises food that’s just as satisfying as their pun-ny name. With a mission to appeal to your taste buds, The Codfather offers specialties like their signature fish and chips, the Buoy Burger, and breaded oysters, clams and shrimp. Marcolino’s Italia

Looking for authentic Italian cuisine to-go? Say Ciao to this delicious Italian food truck in Reno Tahoe. Marcolino’s Italia has Italian go-to’s like Chicken Parmesan, Fettuccine Alfredo and Shrimp Scampi, as well as desserts like the NY Cheesecake and Papa’s Cannoli. Pot Luck

Specializing in Asian fusion cuisine with a Mexican twist, Pot Luck offers tasty items that are sure to have customers feeling lucky to eat there. Fill up on their different potsticker options, or taste one of their popular chicken elote wonton tacos. Pot Luck serves their food full time out of The Stick or follow them on social so you can catch their food truck around town during the week and at events like Food Truck Friday.

With a name honoring Reno’s area code, 775 Eats aims to impress customers with their exceptional American cuisine. Indulge in staples like chicken fingers and fries or their smashburger.
